Welcome to the Town of Walpole, Assessor's Online Database.

The Town of Walpole has a quarterly tax billing schedule for real estate. The tax billing year is based on a fiscal year and not a calendar year. The fiscal year is from July 1st to June 30th.  FY 2021 begins July 1, 2020 and ends June 30, 2021.  Tax Payments are due August 3rd, November 2nd, February 1st and May 3rd for FY 2021

The first two tax bills for FY 2021 are Preliminary Bills, based on last year taxes. The Preliminary Bills are approximately 51.25% of last year taxes.

The 3rd quarter tax bill also known as the FY 2021 Actual Tax Bill, will show the new assessment for FY 2021  and the new tax rate for FY 2021.   Please note the FY 2021 assessments will be based on Real Estate Sales during calendar year 2019.

Please note the following Important Point: State law requires FY 2021 tax bills to reflect ownership as of Jan 1, 2020. Property purchased after Jan 1, 2020, the new owner's name will appear on the FY 2022  1st Quarter Tax Bill issued July 1, 2021.
