All current Assessments are based on 50% of the 1996 market value or 1996 "Clean and Green" values  (even for recent construction).

Note: Assessment Property Class is NOT a Zoning Classification. Contact the appropriate Municipal Zoning Officer for Zoning Info.

If you have questions about deeded ownership, deeded land size, mapping issues, Clean and Green, Homestead, current assessed values, or formal appeals, call the Assessment Office at 570-628-1025.

REASSESSMENT VALUESIn accordance with the Pennsylvania Consolidated County Assessment Law, Schuylkill County has completed a reassessment of all real property effective for January 1, 2026. The new 2026 assessments at the bottom of each page are based on 100% (the predetermined ratio) of the current fair market value as of January 1, 2025 (base year).

The purpose of the reassessment is to reestablish a fair and equitable tax base for the 2026 tax year.

ALL taxing bodies must reduce their 2026 millage tax rates under reassessment law.
