Welcome

Welcome to Vision Government Solution's Town of Foster, RI Database.

The State of Rhode Island requires that all towns complete a statistical revaluation every three years with a full inspection in the ninth year. The Town of Foster completed its full revaluation in 2017, and has completed statistical revaluations with the effective dates of December 31, 2020 and December 31, 2023.

Assessments of all properties are based on 100% market value as of December 31, 2023.  Due to real estate market trends and variations in property style, appeal, and condition, not all property values are impacted in the same way.  Assessed values in the database do not factor exemptions, tax credits, or tax freezes that may be applicable.

Tax bills are mailed at the beginning of July. A property owner may appeal their assessment to the Town Assessor within ninety days from when the first quarter payment is due. Directions for appeal may be found on the reverse side of the tax bill.  The appeal form can be found on the Town of Foster website: Townoffoster.com/tax-assessor

PLEASE NOTE: The values shown on this website reflect the assessed values as of December 31, 2023, and the current tax rate will be adjusted accordingly.
