State law, the Town of Harpswell, in conjunction with Vision Government
Solutions, has nearly completed the Town-wide revaluation of all real property.
The value shown for your property represents the fair market value as of April 1, 2026.
If you wish to review
your new assessment with a Vision Government Solutions representative, you may
schedule a telephone or in-person hearing as outlined below:
1. Call toll-free 888-844-4300 between the hours of 9:00 AM
and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Hearings, and follow the instructions.
If you wish to book more
than two parcels, please call the toll-free number above.
Please have your PID number available when making your
appointment, listed on your property's page at the top. Appointments must be made before the July 29 deadline. Please keep
in mind, the call center operators making appointments are not qualified to
discuss values or valuation data.
Please note:
Informal hearings are
primarily conducted by telephone and are available by appointment only.
Discussions can include: 1) explanations of the valuation and information on
the property record card; and 2) market data used to determine indications of
value. If an in-person hearing is required, specify this preference so a
hearing officer can be assigned. In-person hearings are limited and will be
held in the meeting room at Harpswell Town Office, 263 Mountain Rd., Harpswell,
Maine.
Individuals who are
unable to attend a hearing may appeal to Vision Government Solutions before
July 29, 2026. Send correspondence to Vision Government Solutions c/o Appraisal

The tax rate has not yet
been set.
The indicated value does not reflect any exemptions. The new assessment should
not be multiplied by the current tax rate.
Vision representatives are not able to discuss tax matters.

The fiscal year is January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
