Welcome to the Vision Government Solutions Assessor's database for the Town of Johnston, RI. The Town of Johnston, RI has contracted with Vision Government Solutions of Hudson, Massachusetts to assist with the state mandated revaluation project. Vision Government Solutions would like to thank the Town of Johnston residents for their patience and cooperation throughout the 2022 Revaluation project.  

Value notices have been mailed to all property owners, with specific instructions on how to schedule an informal hearing with a Vision representative. Please note that all hearings will be by appointment only and will be held either (1) in-person at the Johnston Senior Center, 1291 Hartford Avenue, front conference room or (2) by telephone.  Hearings are scheduled to begin the week of May 15, 2023.

Shown on this site are the assessments of all taxable and exempt properties based on 100% of market value as of December 31, 2022. 

Please note that assessed values do not reflect any Homestead exemptions, Elderly Exemptions, Veteran Exemptions, or any tax credit.  They will be applied to the 2023 tax bill to be issued in July. 

Please do not apply the current tax rate to your new assessment. Doing so will result in an inaccurate calculation. The tax rate will be lowered to offset the sharp increase in property values seen not only in Johnston, but across Rhode Island and the rest of the country. The lower tax rate cannot be determined by the town until the reassessment is complete and the town budget is adopted this summer.
