Here you will find the data collected and reviewed by Vision Staff during the reassessment project.  Please take this opportunity to review the data collected on your property to confirm its accuracy.  

The time to schedule an informal review has passed.  The deadline to schedule a review was April 3rd.

Final Value Notices will be mailed on or before July 1, 2026.  All property owners will have an opportunity to file a formal appeal with the Juniata County Board of Assessment Appeals.  Deadline to file a formal appeal will be 40 days from the date on the Final Value Notice.

Clean & Green: Pennsylvania Farmland and Forest Land Assessment Act 319 of 1974, (as amended) is a state law authorized by the Pennsylvania Constitution that allows qualifying land that is devoted to agricultural and forest land use to receive a preferential assessment. Property owners with land of ten (10) acres or more in size may qualify for the Clean and Green program. Land tracts of less than 10 acres in size and actively producing an agricultural commodity may also be eligible. The Clean and Green program provides a tax reduction by permitting a “use value” to be assessed to qualifying land instead of “market value.” Property owners may learn more about this program by visiting the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s website. A preliminary Clean and Green assessment has been prepared for currently enrolled properties or potentially qualifying properties (see page one).


CLEAN AND GREEN ACTION REQUESTED: Potentially qualifying Clean and Green property owners are encouraged to apply for enrollment through the Juniata County Assessment Office.
