In accordance with Connecticut State Statutes, the Town of Monroe and Vision Government Solutions, Inc have completed a revaluation of all real property effective for the Grand List of October 1, 2019

Notices have been sent to property owners with the 2019 assessment values. 

If you wish to appeal your assessment after the informal hearing process is complete, you must file a written appeal to the Monroe Board of Assessment Appeals on the prescribed appeal application form received in the Monroe Assessor's Office no later than 4:30 pm on February 20. Applications to meet with the Board of Assessment Appeals may be obtained online at www.monroect.org/assessor or from the Assessor’s Office.

Assessments are based upon 70% of fair market value. July 2020 tax bills will be based upon 2019 assessment data.

Prior assessments are based upon a market value as of October 1, 2014.
