Note: If you think your property value is incorrect after receiving a tax bill in July you can download an appeal form from the portsmouthri.gov web site under assessor's office or pick one up at the Tax Assessor's Office. Appeals will only be accepted between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30 in the assessor's office to be valid.
