WARREN COUNTY PA REASSESSMENT
In accordance with the
Pennsylvania Consolidated County Assessment Law, Warren County has completed a reassessment
of all real property effective for January 1, 2026. Your new assessment is
based on 100% of the fair market value of your property as of January 1,
2025. The purpose of this reassessment is to reestablish a fair and
equitable tax base for the 2026 tax year.
Formal Appeal Hearing-Under
provisions of the law, any person (including taxing districts) aggrieved by any
assessment and desiring to appeal, shall file a statement, in writing, to the
Board of Assessment Appeals on or before September 1st or within
40 days of a Change of Assessment Notice.
Such statement shall identify the following: Appellant, property location, owner,
assessment or assessments to which the person is aggrieved, address to which
notice of time and place for hearing shall be mailed. The same procedure and deadlines shall apply
to a request for real estate tax exemption.
