Welcome to the Assessor’s database for the City of West Haven, CT.  

The 2024 revaluation is complete, and the information posted here on 1/29/2025 reflects the data after the informal hearing process. 

The information provided in this database reflects the updated value for each individual property as determined by the revaluation process INCLUDING those approved for PA 490 Farm, Forest and Open Space status but NOT INCLUDING any other exemptions or tax reduction programs for which the owner may be eligible.

Please do not multiply the new assessment by the current mill rate.  A new mill rate will be set by the City of West Haven with the adoption of the 2025/2026 budget.

If you wish to appeal your assessment, you must file a written application with the Board of Assessment Appeals.  Applications will be available online on January 31, 2025.

Note: Deadline to submit the application will be on the application at the time of filing.  Applications are also available in the Assessor’s Office and on the city website on January 31, 2025, https:// www.cityofwesthaven.com
