Welcome
Welcome to the WOODSTOCK, CT Online Assessment
Database. This database allows access to
the data compiled for the 2025 Valuation Update. The proposed values shown were derived for
tax purposes by the Assessor’s office in accordance with Connecticut General
Statutes.
The previous revaluation was completed in 2021. CT state laws require towns to revalue every five years. The CT Office of Policy and Management has re-arranged the state-wide revaluation schedule and moved Woodstock to 2025.
2025 Revaluation
The Town of Woodstock has selected Vision Government
Solutions to assist with the town-wide 2025 revaluation project. Vision’s
Appraisal division will be working closely with the Assessing Department to
make the process successful for the Town. We wish to thank the residents of Woodstock for their cooperation throughout the valuation update project.
Assessment change notices have been mailed to property owners. The general information portion of this notice is below:
Dear Woodstock
Property Owner:
In accordance with
Connecticut General Statutes, the Town of Woodstock has completed a Revaluation
of all real property for the October 1, 2025 Grand List. Shown below is the new
assessment of your property as established by the Assessor and Vision
Government Solutions. Your assessment is
based on 70% of market value. Exemptions to assessments (for
example: Veteran’s exemptions) are not shown as part of this notice but will be
applied to the final assessments.
Do not apply the current tax (mill) rate
to your new assessment, as doing so will result in an inaccurate calculation.
The
new mill rate will be determined by the Town in the spring of 2026.
You may review your new
assessment on the Vision Government Solutions web site: www.vgsi.com. This site will allow
inquiry access to the Assessor’s database, including value summary, property
data, and general revaluation information.
