Important Real Estate Information:
The City of Harrisonburg is on an annual Reassessment Cycle. Values become effective January 1 of each year.
Your January 1 value will be reflected on your tax bill due December 5th.
Reassessment notices (changes only) will be mailed in November.
December 15th- 19th, 2025 December 19, 2025 | Real Estate Appeals for 2026 Assessments. Last day to appeal 2026 Assessments. |
